Viking Holiday Resort - Koh Samet

Really good staff service!

We were in the double room with an electric kettle, an air conditioning, and an electronic key card. The location turned out to be unbeatable and excellent, just off other beaches, and Koh samed.

We liked the double room which was clean. That hotel was in an exceptionally nice and unbeatable location, in front of the ocean. Plus, it was just next door to the main beach, the restaurant and other shops.

The good outweighs the bad (barely)

The staff were lovely and attentive, ensuring all our needs were met. The pristine beach provided a serene escape.

While the overall experience was pleasant, some amenities felt basic, lacking the charm expected for the price paid. The initial breakfast options disappointingly fell short.

The room we had included TV set, a refrigerator, and coffee/tea makers. The location of the hotel was exceptionally nice and perfect - at walking distance from Wong Duean Beach.

Everything was amazing, stunning location close to the beach, the shore and exotic jungle, very lovely experience. Liked our beautifully decorated rooms on the water and the staff were OUTSTANDINGLY ACCOMMODATING. An electric kettle and a fridge were provided if needed.

The speedboat arrival was lovely, but the room lacked comfort and extras.

The peaceful atmosphere was a highlight for me, with the beach just a few steps away and attractions like Sun Set Point within a short walk. I loved starting my day with a relaxing beach view and soaking in the serene surroundings.

The peaceful atmosphere at Viking Holiday Resort really stood out. The little cove is gorgeous. A highlight was the really good staff. They were friendly, attentive. The original art pieces scattered around the premises added a lovely touch. Each morning, the basic breakfast buffet was sufficient to start my day. The accommodation felt quite basic, especially the small bungalow I stayed in. The bathroom had cleanliness issues, and the bed was uncomfortable, affecting my sleep. Despite this, the overall vibe was calming and relaxed, thanks to the well-maintained beach area and easy access to hammocks and traditional beach chairs.

The noise from neighboring rooms really broke my peace!!! Access to some facilities felt limited, with no extended hours for dining options.

The Viking Holiday Resort exudes a serene charm with its stunning private beach and attentive management. Rooms remain cozy yet basic, but the daily snorkeling right off the beach and friendly staff made up for it.

The Viking Holiday Resort offered a tranquil retreat with its excellent staff, who were always friendly and eager to assist. My stay in a Standard Double Room was good, with a lovely view of the private beach and a serene atmosphere perfect for relaxation.

The restaurant closed early.

Our 5 nights stay at Viking Holiday Resort was great. the staff were amazingly friendly and gave us great tips. the setting of the hotel in the exotic jungle was peaceful and excellent. Ao Thian district was definitely worth exploring. We had good and delightful meals in the restaurant.

Stayed at Viking Holiday Resort for 2 days and had a wonderful experience. the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. - the location is quiet and convenient, close to the beach and within easy reach of various amenities like restaurants, huts, and bars.
